Dr. Zulkowski obtained her doctorate from the State University of NY at Buffalo. Between 2000 and 2005, she served as a Research Consultant with Billings Clinic Center on Aging and was the Associate Director for Yale University's Program for the Advancement of Chronic Wound Care. She is a past board member of the NPUAP and is current chair of the dressing section for the international treatment guidelines, which will be coming out later this year. Currently, Karen is an Associate Professor with Montana State University-Bozeman, and was just named US International Delegate to the WCET (World Council of Enterostomal Therapists). She lives in Red Lodge, MT with her husband, two dogs, 3 horses, and 4 cats.
