Janice C. Colwell, MS, RN, CWOCN, FAAN

Jan Colwell has practiced as a WOC nurse for over 34 years. Her practice has been at an academic acute care facility where her primary responsibility has been in the management of patients with fecal and urinary diversions, both an in-patient and outpatient practice. She has multiple publications related to the ostomy care, co-editing a textbook on ostomy care and has lectured on ostomy patient management nationally and internationally. She is a past president of the WOCN Society, the ostomy section editor of the JWOCN and is the current president of Friends of Ostomates Worldwide USA.
