Lynn has over 30 years pediatric experience in a variety of settings including PICU, general peds, transport, outpatient and academia. She has been providing wound, ostomy, continence care to neonates and children for the past 7 years. She is a certified clinical nurse specialist and pediatric nurse. She has been a lecturer on neonatal and pediatric skin issues and numerous other pediatric topics. She is the past president of the Society of Pediatric Nursing. Currently she is a doctoral student at Rush University College of Nursing where here dissertation research focus is "Perceptions of adolescents following ostomy surgery, using a grounded theory methodology”.
