Ann Marie Nie is the Certified Wound, Ostomy and Continence nurse practitioner at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. She has held the position for five years at this 500-bed teaching hospital. Ann Marie is a graduate of the WOCN Education at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. She obtained her BSN from the College of Mount Saint Joseph in Cincinnati, Ohio and completed her MSN as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Northern Kentucky University. She has presented nationally and internationally on pressure ulcer prevention in the pediatric population. Her previous experience includes pediatric and adult nursing in inpatient rehabilitation and in home care settings. She has held positions both in clinical nursing and in management.
