Dr. Lowry is an adjunct professor of surgery at the University of Minnesota. She practices clinical colon and rectal surgery in Minneapolis; her research interests are primarily in the area of pelvic floor disorders. In 2005-06, she was president of the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgery.
