Margaret is a clinical nurse specialist in wound, ostomy and continence and has been in practice for over 20 years. She received her diploma in Nursing from Helene Fuld School of Nursing and a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Nursing from Widener University. Margaret’s interest in ostomy care began when she had an ileostomy for ulcerative colitis in 1970. She has been active in the WOCN Society for nearly 30 years, holding many offices, and is a Past President of the Society. Margaret has also served as a member and, more recently, Chair of the WOCN Society Clinical Practice Guideline Task. She has co-authored a text book on urinary and fecal diversions and has authored many articles and chapters on wound and ostomy care.
