David Stern, MD, CPC

Dr Stern is a partner in Physicians Immediate Care which is headquartered in Illinois and operates twelve urgent care centers in Northern Illinois and Oklahoma. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and is a certified professional coder.

Dr. Stern has practiced urgent care medicine for over 15 years, and was chosen by thousands of physician colleagues to be listed in Castle-Connolly's America's Top Physicians.

Dr. Stern is also chief executive officer of Practice Velocity, a leader in providing charting, coding and practice management solutions for urgent care centers.

Dr. Stern graduated from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and served his residency at Mercy Catholic Medical Center in Darby, Pennsylvania. He served as chief resident and instructor in Internal Medicine at Pennsylvania State University Hospital in Hershey, Pennsylvania.
