Wendy Crader

Wendy Crader has been teaching for a total of 21 years at both the public school and community college level. After ten years in the public school system, she returned to the University of Texas at San Antonio and earned a second Master’s Degree in Education with a focus on Curriculum and Instruction. While completing graduate coursework, she began working for the Alamo Community Colleges, St. Philip’s College and Northeast Lakeview College, eventually obtaining a full-time position as Assistant Professor of Reading at Northeast Lakeview College. In this capacity, she has presented on topics ranging from contextualized learning and accelerated learning to curriculum development. In addition, she participates in numerous committees ranging from local to state-wide with a specific focus on Developmental Education.
