Joel Henderson

Joel B. Henderson is the Chair of the Humanities Department at Chattanooga State Community College in southeast Tennessee. He holds a Doctorate in American Literature from the University of Southern Mississippi and Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees from Harding University.  Henderson is a twenty-year veteran of community college English instruction and has taught at two-year institutions in Arkansas, Mississippi, and Tennessee.
