Rob Lamm

Rob Lamm serves as Director of English Education at Arkansas State University. He teaches courses such as “Theory in the Teaching of Composition,” Advanced Composition,” “Technical Writing,” and “Teaching Writing in the Schools.” Highlights of his career include serving as a visiting professor at the University of Notre Dame, directing the NEA Writing Project, and mentoring writers’ retreats at the Hemingway-Pfeiffer Education Center. He presents on many subjects, including “Visual Arguments,” “Humor Writing,” “Literary Arguments,” and “Logic in Argument.” The second edition of his college-level textbook Dynamic Argument was published last January. The book features a chapter titled “Using Sources, Avoiding Plagiarism.”
