Samantha Crandall

Samantha Crandall is the Assistant Director of the Speckman Tutoring & Learning Center (TLC) at Ozarks Technical Community College (OTC). She holds a B.S. in Mathematics from Missouri State University and an M.S. in Mathematics from Purdue University. Samantha is the Lead Instructor for OTC's Math Study Strategies course and also teaches PreAlgebra, Basic Algebra, and Keys to College Success. She is an active member of NADE/MRADE and has given numerous presentations at the local, regional, and national levels on topics such as “How to Study for a Math Class”, “Math is Impossible: Think Again!”, “Online Applets”, “Math Manipulatives”, “Activities to Inspire & Train Tutors”, “Creating Learning Groups for Collaborative Study”, “Math Study Strategies for the Online Math Student”, “How to Study in a Nutshell”, and “Integrating Math Study Skills Into the Curriculum”. Samantha also supervises and conducts tutor training meetings for the TLC on a wide range of CRLA topics.
