Steve Staley

Steve Staley is a Professor of Humanities at Colorado Technical University in Colorado Springs. Steve holds a B.S. in international relations, an M.S. in national security and strategic studies, and an M.A. and Ph.D. in English literature. He has won the Colorado Technical University Outstanding Teacher Award twice in the last five years, and in addition to his teaching, he now serves as Faculty Development Coordinator. During 1995-96, he served as a Fulbright Fellow teaching business communication and American literature in the Republic of Kyrgyzstan in the former Soviet Union.  Following several years flying as an Air Force pilot, Steve began his teaching career at the US Air Force Academy, teaching composition, speech and literature courses.  While there he developed an innovative senior honors course in “Physics and Literature,” and began the Academy’s freshman IDEA (Interdisciplinary Education at the Academy) program—an early and successful first-year student program.     [ Click for More ]
