Kathleen A. Bishop

Kathleen Bishop earned her BA in English Literature from Stockton State College in New Jersey where her senior thesis was entitled “Liberation and Feminism in the Women of Tolstoy.” She earned two masters degrees from Kaplan University in Higher Education: Administration and Leadership and Online Teaching and Learning. Her Ph.D. is in pastoral management and theology from the Florida Religious Studies Institute in Fort Lauderdale. Her theology dissertation was entitled “Women Who Walk with God: The Hidden History of Women in Christianity.” Her dissertation in pastoral management was a series of trainings based on necessary life skills for people in addictions treatment. It was done in conjunction with Broward Alcohol Rehabilitation Center and Broward College’s Center for Business and Industry. She is a retired Unity Minister and a practicing Zen Buddhist and social justice advocate.
