Gary Williams

Dr. Gary J. Williams is an Associate Professor and Instructional Assessment Specialist at Crafton Hills College in Yucaipa, California. For the past 22 years, he has been directly involved in helping students succeed at a variety of institutions, large and small, public and private. His range of experience spans student services, residence life, international student advising, first year experience, and assessing student learning outcomes. He has been using the College Success Factors Index for 12 years in curricular and co-curricular settings, and has trained faculty, counselors and staff in adopting the CSFI and integrating it into courses and programs. It has become an integral part of his efforts to foster successful attitudes and habits among college students. He has served on the Accreditation and Student Learning Outcomes Committee for the Academic Senate of the California Community Colleges (ASCCC), as a Mentor for the WASC Student Learning Level I and II Retreats, and as a Program Coordinator for the Basic Skills Initiative for the California Community Colleges.     [ Click for More ]
