Annette McCreedy

Annette McCreedy received her B.A. and M.A. in English from Middle Tennessee State University, and her Ed.D. in Administration Leadership from Peabody College of Vanderbilt University. Annette created the College Success course for Nashville State Community College, and she later assisted numerous colleges nationwide with the creation of their own student success courses, based on the Nashville State model. For over 4 years, she has incorporated the CSFI, the Discovery Wheel, and numerous self-assessment tools into College Success to help monitor student progress, critical in a state where funding is increasingly driven by retention and completion rates. For the last 23 years, Annette has taught English, Spanish, and College Success at Nashville State. Annette wrote the annotated instructor materials for the 14th edition of Becoming a Master Student (Cengage Learning). In addition, she has written textbook-specific remediation for the CSFI 2.0 for several College Success textbooks, including Becoming a Master Student, From Master Student to Master Employee, and FOCUS on Community College Success, published by Cengage Learning.     [ Click for More ]
