In this thought-provoking and interactive session, we will explore the use of the Reader Response Journal (RRJ) as a way to engage students in the Integrated Reading and Writing classroom. Using “old school” and “new age” tools we will unpack the learning that can be acquired using RRJs, technology, mini-lessons, and collaborative reading and writing. You don’t have to have your devices to attend this session, but if you have an iPad, iPhone, or any internet-ready smart device bring it with you – you’ll be glad you did.
