Field Trips are a time-honored way of connecting the classroom with the real world, providing an authentic and engaging learning experience. But time and money may be obstacles for the college environment. This session will highlight some alternative, affordable, fun approaches including the use of virtual field trips, ways to bring the community to the classroom, and using Google Earth.
