Given the overwhelming challenges of teaching in the traditional classroom, isn’t it too much to expect instructors to master learning management systems, design online courses, and satisfy students’ increasing demands for 24/7 access? Yet many instructors are required to do just that. Online pedagogy shares similar goals and outcomes with the f2f classroom but presents unique challenges. This session presents basic principles and practical teaching tactics for developing engaging digital learning environments that are personal and sustainable.
