Use the electricity of kinesthetic group activities to facilitate student investigation of sentence structure concepts. This interactive session models enlightening “human sentence” activities that teach compound sentence punctuation patterns. Concepts are then transferred to students’ own writing in stages of skill-building and positive reinforcement that create a current of student confidence with grammatical material. Bring your own hands-on ideas for a brainstorm!
