Most students receive little or no reading instruction beyond the 6th grade, and most have never been taught how to read or navigate textbooks. Teachers benefit from having a wide-range of comprehensive and explicit strategies to reach their learners. This presentation will offer faculty engaging textbook reading and learning strategies that can easily be applied in their classrooms.
