Create a zipline from scaffolded hands-on learning to integration of advanced concepts. This interactive session models use of engaging kinesthetic activities to teach relative clause structure, restrictive/nonrestrictive punctuation, and who versus whom--in an approach so unintimidating that students ask, “What’s the big deal?” Concepts are then transferred to working with printed text in five stages that support student ownership, confidence, and comfort with high-level material.
