E-Learning workshops tend to focus on demonstrating how new technological teaching tools operate but pay less attention to how faculty must transform conventional classroom goals, practices, and techniques into equally effective methods of online delivery. Although online pedagogy shares similar goals and outcomes to teaching in the classroom, it presents challenges that are both unique and difficult to anticipate.
