Some recent research calls into question the validity of learning styles. But many of us have either taught or taught with a learning style model for years. Whether it is Kolb, 4MAT, Hermann Brain Dominance, VARK or another learning or personality style inventory we’ve modeled, we’ve seen success. But is it all our imagination? Join this session to learn more about the ongoing debate about learning styles and to explore what using learning styles has taught us about our students and ourselves and how to translate that into effective teaching.
