In this interactive workshop participants will learn how to use prompts, quotes, and headlines to increase critical and creative thought throughout the writing process, to garner richer classroom discussion, and to encourage higher-level essay development. Using active learning strategies, free writing activities, and a Socratic seminar method, the presenter will share practical techniques that can be implemented immediately regardless of academic level.
