This workshop presents a variety of formal and informal writing assignments that promote critical thinking and deep learning, engage students, and don't take forever to grade. The sample assignments are applicable to all disciplines—especially useful to participants whose colleges have active writing-across-the curriculum programs. Examples are from online classrooms will also be included.
