For many of our developmental math students who struggle with the subject matter, the time spent in our course "can" have a cocoon-like impact on their academic lives and beyond. As teachers, what we say, what we do, AND how we present subject matter can mean the difference between student apathy and student enthusiasm. Join us as we actively explore ways to motivate developmental math students to become active participants in their learning process. Those who attend are sure to take away tools and ideas they can use immediately in the classroom to help students develop wings.
