This presentation presents research on contributing factors for students to be successful in learning math. One of these main factors is how to integrate math learning strategies into the classroom along with teaching students how to study math outside of class. These learning strategies can be imbedded into course presentations so that minimal time is taken away from the content focus. The results are students participating more productively in class and learning more mathematics outside the classroom, leading to improved learning and grades.
