In an effort to foster student engagement, and student-centered, creative teaching, J. Sargeant Reynolds created several Freshman Learning Communities using paired courses. College Success is paired with Freshman English, Developmental Math, College Biology, Intro to Computers, Intro to Teaching and Developmental English.  We have found that using College Success material as a basis of paired course material gives students reinforcement of the material in a content setting, combines the material to create more engaging courses, and energizes faculty.
