If you are using (or considering) Ellis’ Becoming a Master Student textbook, this session will show you how to help students dig even deeper to find the successful student inside them. Gallup’s StrengthsQuest is an assets-based philosophy that helps students learn what they are good at vs. spending all their time addressing weaknesses. StrengthsQuest Certified Educator, RJ Rapoza, will share his first-hand experiences working with first-generation, low-income, academically underprepared students.
