Research shows that developmental students are much more successful when they enroll in learning communities. If you want to know why, this session is a MUST!  Come hear about the challenges and benefits that have resulted from teaching a learning community of an exit-level developmental writing class combined with a college-level English Composition class.  The challenges are great, but the benefits are increased student success and retention in both disciplines.
