This session will present and discuss ways to bring basic math concepts to life.  We will explore how the use of hands-on and active learning strategies allows struggling math students to experience and understand basic concepts that seem beyond their grasp. With the implementation of these ready to use strategies for your fundamental math course, you will see improvements in aptitude and interest and watch negative attitudes turn positive through the course of the year.
