Ding! In this corner we have the foundations of good writing--focus, logic, argument, grammar. Ding! And in this corner we have all the talk about how we need to engage our students in writing that's relevant to their lives--writing that somehow involves media. Can the two stop fighting and live in harmony? We think so, and we have some classroom-tested methods for bringing the digital age into the composition classroom without friction or fisticuffs
