Students will go to a party or join in on a pick-up game “at the drop of a hat,” but when they are asked to put pen to paper, the hat tends to stay on longer. In this session, attendees will learn about using spontaneous hands-on, writing-based activities to help students more easily put pen to paper to improve their brainstorming, writing, and college success skills. The activities also encourage small and large group interaction.
