After driving materials to jobsites, shoveling trenches, and ruining a few cut blades, the owner of Great Lakes Granite and Marble decided to try out Rafael in Sales. Today, after 10 years of work, he serves as the Residential Division Manager. Today more than ever, he needs all the help he can get from his peers in order to succeed in todays business world. Team approach and making the customer number one have helped Great Lakes stay open for business since 1987. The company that startedbusiness with a couple of grinders, an Achilles saw and a motley crew of5 menfrom Detroit, today fabricates over 160,000 s.f. per year out of their sunny and warm 32 degree shop in Redford, Michigan. In 2007 Great Lakes became the 4th company to become accredited by the MIA as a Residential Fabricator. Rafael is an active member of the MIA, andhas served in the Educational Committee since 2006.
