Michael Whalen began working with concrete as an artistic medium in 2004. In 2005, he started InConcrete Custom Countertops and Design Elements with Lynda Apple. Michael, otherwise known as \"Whalen\", comes from a background of jewelry, welding, pottery and carpentry. He is also a Grand Canyon River guide.
