Gail Perry, CPA is a financial journalist, author, speaker, and instructor. She is the managing editor at AccountingWEB, the online daily newsmagazine for members of the tax and accounting community, with a subscriber base of 56,000 and an estimated readership of over 100,000 unique readers per month. Ms. Perry is a former senior tax accountant with Deloitte, and she continues to maintain a tax and financial consulting practice. She is the author of 28 books on various aspects of personal finance, taxation, and financial software, including Surviving Financial Downsizing: A Practical Guide to Living Well on Less Income.
