This year's theme focuses on the power of interventional radiology as a whole - physicians, physician extenders, industry and hospitals - working together to protect and strengthen our field. This year's meeting will educate and invigorate attendees with a community; a community which you are an integral member.

Just as each new wave redefines the shape and look of the beach, interventional radiology's constant growth and innovation redefines modern health care. We've jettisoned invasive surgical traditions and replaced them with image guided, targeted treatments that improve outcome, shorten recovery, reduce complications and open wholly new methods of diagnosis and treatment. This endless cyclical innovation is what keeps interventional radiology exciting and at the vanguard of medicine.
