Mr. Boyd is vice president, broadcast systems, with responsibility for strategic and business development activities to apply Wavestream's next generation solid state power amplifier technology to the broadcast satellite communications market. Mr. Boyd has over 30 years of experience in the cable and satellite communication industry, with executive-level responsibilities in management and operations, product planning, marketing, sales, and strategic and business development for large global organizations, small start-up companies, and division and corporate turnarounds. Prior to joining Wavestream, Mr. Boyd held positions with leading-edge organizations such as Nortel, Scientific Atlanta (now Cisco), Generation Instruments (now Motorola), and Harmonic.
