Gary grew up in Brooklyn, N.Y. and Northern N.J. He attended Trenton State College in NJ and earned a bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering in 1986. He has worked for a variety of manufacturing companies in different industries including Ortho Pharmaceutical, a J&J company, American Standard, Coach Leatherwear, a division of Sara Lee and JCIT - Colorado consulting firm. During his career in these companies he held various positions from industrial engineer, flow manufacturing coordinator, manufacturing manager to senior consultant teaching and implementing. Lean Flow for companies around the world. In 1998 Gary, with three other partners formed FlowVision, LLC, - The Lean Flow Consulting Company. Gary's 20 years of Lean Flow Manufacturing experience includes actual implementations in factories where he worked at as well as guiding Lean Flow implementations in companies around the world. He has implemented in companies that produce a few as 1 product a day in the semiconductor capital equipment industry to as many as 20 billion coins a year at the US Mint.

Some of the products that he implemented Lean Flow on include: Ultrasound and cat-scan medical equipment, sanitary ware, semiconductor capital equipment, networking equipment, SMT lines, leather, electromechanical equipment, vegetative cuttings, young plants, woody plants and machined components. During the last 6 years Gary has been instrumental in the introduction of Lean Flow techniques into the Green Industry. Gary along with FlowVision have implemented Lean Flow in many Nursery/Greenhouse operations from small to large; Ball, Tagawa, Kerry's, Elzinga & Hoeksema, Van Belle Nursery, Jolly Farmer, Smith Gardens just to name a few. Gary has traveled extensively in the Far East, Europe and Central and South America teaching and implementing Lean Flow Manufacturing concepts and his bilingual capability gives him the ability to teach and implement in Spanish speaking countries. FlowVision, LLC provides Lean Flow Manufacturing Education and consulting services to a wide range of clients including Timken, Timberland, Alliance Laundry, IMMI, Cisco, GE, Ball FloraPlant, John Deere, Air Products, Tyco International, Twyford International, Kerry's, Ingersoll Rand, Johnson & Johnson, Kraft Gardens, Jabil Circuit, Cisco Systems, Van Belle Nursery and others.
