My career then took me to Germany where I worked from 1995 to 1996 at Kientzler. I enjoyed working for a breeder / supplier and decided to join Selecta in summer 1996 as a grower. After a short time I took over as head grower of the stock plant department (including clean stock) in Stuttgart. In 1998 I decided to get an additional horticulture degree; requiring classes for two more semesters. Working part time for Selecta, I graduated in the summer of 1999.After completing school I yearned for excitement so I went to work for Selecta's brand new stock plant farm in Kenya. Upon my return from Kenya I took over product management and the North American Market in 2000. In 2003 I decided to give up my role as product manager in Germany and moved to the U.S. to take over the position as general manager for Selecta's activities in North America. I have been with Selecta for 11 years and in North America for 5. In addition to my job and our industry, I love to ski, hike, backpack, and spend as much time with my family as possible.
