NAGC 53rd Annual Convention ()
November 1, 2006 - November 5, 2006
327 Sessions, 289 Speakers
To make significant changes takes determination and a desire to make things better. In 1903 the Wright brothers blazed a trail and opened the skies for all. As educators, parents and advocates of high-potential learners you are equally dedicated to opening up greater educational opportunities for gifted children. This year, the National Association for Gifted Children will hold its 53rd Annual Convention in Charlotte, NC. This presents a unique opportunity to hear from the authoritative voices in gifted education. The program is rich in content and scope with presentations focusing on differentiation, rigorous curriculum and the social and emotional needs of high-ability learners. The world of gifted education will gather for 3 days to listen, learn, relax, and revive surrounded by colleagues who are all striving to ensure that the unique educational needs of gifted children are met.
