Mark A. Kirk, MD

Dr. Kirk is an emergency physician and medical toxicologist with special interests in prehospital medicine, critical care toxicology and incident response to large-scale hazardous materials and chemical terrorism. He directs the Chemical Defense Division in the Department of Homeland Security's Office of Health Affairs addressing chemical security and defense issues in the Federal government. He continues a part-time clinical practice at the University of Virginia.
