Mauro Pravettoni

In 2003 he gets his MSc in Theoretical Physics at the University of Milan, with a work on plasma dynamics. In 2005 he gets a MEng in Controlled Thermonuclear Fusion at the University of Padua. He approaches Energetics and the renewable energies. In 2011 he gets his PhD in Physics at the Imperial College, London, with a thesis on the characterization of new generation photovoltaic devices. Since 2012 he is a member of the British Society for the Philosophy of Science. In 2005 he is Junior Financial Advisor at Pricewaterhouse&Coopers; afterwards he is Process Engineer at STMicroelectronics. In 2007 he starts working as contract agent at the Joint Research Centre of the Eutoropean Commisssion on new generation photovoltaic devices. Since 2010 he is associate researcher at SUPSI, where he currently leads indoor measurements at the Swiss PV Module Test Centre. He gives lectures on basic theory of photovoltaic devices and cooperates to international research projects. He is a member of IEC/TC 82 for the development of international standard measurement methods as Swiss national expert.     [ Click for More ]
