Vincent Rotello

Vincent Rotello is the Goessmann Professor of Chemistry at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. After an NSF postdoctoral fellow (M.I.T. 1990-1993) he joined the University of Massachusetts in 1993. He received the NSF CAREER, Cottrell Scholar and Camille Dreyfus Teacher-Scholar awards, the Sloan Fellowship, and the Langmuir Lectureship, and is a Fellow of the AAAS and of the Royal Society of Chemistry (U.K.). He is the Editor in Chief of Bioconjugate Chemistry, and is on the Editorial Board of 12 other journals. His research program focuses on engineering the interface between hard and soft materials for applications in nanotechnology and nanomedicine, with >390 papers published to date.
