Yunsang Kim

Yunsang Kim was born and grew up in Seoul, South Korea. He attended Korea University and received B.S. and M.S in Materials Science and Engineering. After four years of industrial experience in Samsung group, he came to Georgia Tech to pursue a doctoral degree in Materials Science and Engineering since 2009. His research deals primarily with the development of efficient high-k dielectric materials for energy storage applications under the supervision of Dr. Joseph Perry. Materials he is interested in involve polymer/ceramic nanocomposites and organic-inorganic hybrid polar sol-gels. Processing-structure-property relationship of the thin films from these materials is another field of interest.
