Jason Deng

Dr. Jason Deng is a postdoctoral fellow at MIT, working with Prof. Paula Hammond at the Koch Institute for Integrative Cancer Research. His research interest focuses on the interdisciplinary field of nano-biosciences: discovering the mechanisms of nano-bio interactions, applying knowledge for better design of nanomedicine and translating benchtop research to bedside medicine. His work on nanomedicine and nanotoxicology has been published in 10+ research articles in top-tier journals, such as Nature Nanotechnology, Lancet, Advanced Materials and ACS Nano. In 2013, Jason received Australia NHMRC fellowship. He received his PhD in biomedical Sciences at University of Queensland in 2011 and his BSc in Biomedical Sciences at University of Adelaide in 2007.
