Diana Davila Pineda

Diana Davila obtained her B.Sc. in Electronics and Communications Engineering, from the Tecnologico de Monterrey, Mexico (2004). She received her M.S. in Micro and Nanoelectronics Engineering (2008) and her Ph.D. in Electronics Engineering (2011) from the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona, Spain. Her dissertation research focused on the development of thermoelectric
microgenerators based on silicon nanowires at the Microelectronics Institute of Barcelona (IMB-CNM, CSIC). She worked as a postdoctoral fellow on the synthesis of CVD-VLS silicon nanowires at the Catalonia Institute for Energy Research (IREC). Currently, she is a working on hybrid Spintronics-MEMS devices at the International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory (INL) in Portugal.
