Rishi Raj

Rishi Raj is a Postdoctoral Associate in the Device Research Laboratory, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). His research focuses on advanced transport processes to discover unique functionalities and realize new technologies for a variety of energy and thermal management problems both for ground and space based applications. He holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland College Park in 2010 and Bachelor of Technology degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati in 2006. Rishi is the recipient of the Postdoctoral Fellowship Award by the Battelle Memorial Institute and the Department of Mechanical Engineering MIT. He is also the recipient of the 2010 Best Dissertation Award by the Department of Mechanical Engineering, University of Maryland and the 2009 Future Faculty Fellowship by the A. James Clark School of Engineering, University of Maryland.
