Deborah Day

Ms. Deborah Day is currently in her 15th year of teaching at Amity Senior High School, Woodbridge, CT and has taught all levels of Chemistry I as well as AP Chemistry. In 2006, Ms. Day was elected Instructor for the Science Research Program and has directed the program since. Ms. Day earned a B.A. with a double major in Biology and Chemistry and M.S. in Chemistry. In addition to teaching, she engages in Materials Science and Science Education research through the CRISP Nanocharacterization Facility at SCSU/Yale and has been an MRS member since ~2006.
