D7.01 - Single Molecule Detection with Optical Microresonators

I will show our results with optical microcavity biosensors capable of detecting single molecules and their interactions. We achieve unparalleled sensitivity and time resolution by enhancing the already extreme sensitivity of Whispering Gallery Modes with the principle of plasmon resonance. Our platform technology enables label-free studies of single molecules, their interactions and transformations.
